Images for History
Institutional film for the City of Campo Grande.

We produced for Drogasil a 20-minute short documentary telling the sociopolitical history of the last 50 years of the municipality of Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul, to be shown in the region’s schools. In developing the script, we had the help of the city’s historians in researching symbolic materials of the city, its origins and the planning of its streets.
The great challenge of the project was to blend the city’s archive images with current takes, filmed from exactly the same point of view as the old photos. To solve this, our film crew, made up of a director of photography and a drone pilot, was accompanied throughout by a historian from the city government who, equipped with maps and archive photos, was able to guide them to the exact points we needed to portray.
