Shot in Rio de Janeiro, and in the north of Portugal. The film's main character is professor and clarinetist José Botelho, considered a living legend of Brazilian classical music. Directed and scripted by his granddaughter, the film shows the family, intimate and irreverent side of the musician. “Vovô Botelho” tells in detail his artistic trajectory and philosophies between soft laughs and his clarinet, which never leaves his hand.
