The Oi Digital Surf online surfing championship is a project created by Alexandre Abu and Carol Gama Porto, headed by La Gente Comunicação and with Costa Blanca Films producing all audiovisual pieces.
In an innovative format, everyone was able to follow the championship through programs on YouTube, with stage direction by Leila Savary and PH Costa Blanca.
In 2020, the project won the only Star in the Digital Category, in the Telecommunications Sector, of the most careful creation award in the country: 45th Yearbook of the Brazilian Creation Club.
Oi Digital Surf became the event with the highest audience in the history of surfing, with more than 128 million impacts, 38 million users and 46 thousand waves sent. Among the many participants, we have Gabriel Medina, Italo Ferreira, Silvana Lima, Adriano de Souza and Filipe Toledo.
