WOW Conversas with Juliana Paes

For each issue, the lifestyle magazine WOW makes launch audiovisual content, which consists of shooting the behind the scenes of the whole photo shoot and, at the end, having a chat with the personality on the cover, producing an episode called WOW Conversas, which is posted on the magazine’s YouTube channel.

Brunno and Ma, who already produced the WOW podcast in our studio, Studio CB, came to us to produce the episode with the actress Juliana Paes. They were dissatisfied with the results of previous episodes, which did not convey the essence of the magazine’s work. The goal was an agile, lean production that would still bring the aesthetic of TV shows to digital.

In a 10-hour shooting day, our team captured the whole photo shoot and set up a podcast structure using the studio’s own backstage as the set. The final result is a 42-minute episode with a lot of interaction, showing the closeness and relaxed mood between the magazine’s owners and the actress. Despite the lean team and the reduced budget, we delivered a product for YouTube with the same narrative and technical quality that Costa Blanca Films has been delivering for years to major entertainment players.
